This pretzel candy recipe has a surprise hidden inside. If you didn’t guess yet, it’s a seasoned sourdough pretzel nugget!Â
For this sweet pretzel treat, we layered chocolate and peanut butter in silicon cupcake liners, then placed a Sweet & Salty pretzel nugget inside. Topped it off with more peanut butter and chocolate and popped them into the fridge for a couple of hours. The result is a satisfying combination of sweet and salty with just the right amount of crunch.Â
As with our other favorite pretzel candy recipes, you can use any of our sweet varieties to give your pretzel peanut butter cups the flavor you like best. We’ve also made these with almond butter - it was delicious - and a great substitute if you have someone with a peanut allergy in the family.
