Premium Ingredients = Recipes that WOW

We know that when you are feeding the people you love, you want to give them the best. That’s why using the best ingredients in our recipes is so important to us. The things to focus on when making muffin cup lasagna are:

The lasagna noodles. For a lasagna cups recipe, the no-bake lasagna will not work. You need to choose the ones that you have to boil as the noodles need to be pliable to fit into the muffin cups.

The sauce. Use your favorite homemade or store-bought sauce for muffin cup lasagna. If it’s a chunky sauce, you may want to puree it a bit since you have limited space to work with.

The topping. Of course, lasagna cups are topped with sauce and mozzarella cheese, but we also like to add some crunch to our version. Crushed OMG! Pretzels add flavor and texture to every bite! Plus, they are nonGMO, artificial ingredient free, kosher and 100% made in the USA.

Gather all of your ingredients. We like to set up a prep station with the muffin tin at the center so that everything you need to layer your muffin cup lasagna is easy to reach.

Layer your muffin cup lasagna. Start with sauce, then add a noodle, cheese mixture, veggie, cheese and so on.

Put your lasagna cups in the oven to bake.

Add your crunchy pretzel topping to each lasagna cup and return to the oven for a few minutes.

Pretzel-tastic Lasagna Cups Variations

  • Make it meaty. Instead of the zucchini we are using in this lasagna cups recipe, brown ground beef or sausage and layer it in. You can still top with Garlic OMG! Pretzels for a classic lasagna vibe.
  • Brighten it up. In addition to the zucchini, add some bell peppers or mushrooms to your lasagna cups. For the top, opt for Lemon Pepper OMG! Pretzels that will give a hint of citrus and sweetness that pairs well with the vegetable medley.
  • Spice it right. For the filling, use ground lamb seasoned with cinnamon and oregano. This will give your lasagna cups recipe a Greek flavor profile. Top with Sweet & Spicy OMG! Pretzels.
