Themed Charcuterie Board Ideas
- Tuscan Sunset - For this Italian-themed charcuterie board, choose cured salamis and prosciutto. Arrange the salty, chewy meats in neat rows flanked on either side by rows of seasoned sourdough pretzel nuggets. We like our Garlic and Lemon Pepper varieties most for this charcuterie board. For the cheeses, chunks of parmesan and slices of fresh mozzarella are ideal. Finish the charcuterie board off with roasted red peppers and fresh basil leaves for color.
- A Taste of Spain - Manchego cheese, Iberian ham, and olives take center stage for this charcuterie board with pretzels theme. Sweet Chili and Cheddar Jalapeno OMG! Pretzels work well with the fresh ingredients. We also like to add marcona almonds tossed in rosemary and dried apricots to the board.
- Seaside Bites - Charcuterie boards don’t usually involve seafood, but give this idea a chance. It’s a fun twist on the classic appetizer spread and works perfectly with our Chesapeake and Lemon Pepper varieties. The feature ingredients are smoked salmon, crab salad (use our recipe), cornichons and artichoke hearts. If you want to add cheese, cube some smoked gouda or swiss to complement the other flavors on the seafood board.
