Ingredients

  • 6 pears, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

For the crumble topping:

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Lightly butter an oven-safe 9x10 baking dish.
  • Peel, core and cube the pears. You want the pieces of pear to be about the same size so the pear crumble recipe cooks evenly.
  • Add the pears to a bowl with lemon juice and cornstarch. If your pears are not ripe, this is when you add the sugar to ensure your pear crumble will be sweet.
  • In a bowl, combine the nuts, oats, cubed butter and crushed OMG! Pretzels for the pear crumble topping.
  • Pour the pear mixture into your prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the crumble topping over the pears until the fruit is evenly covered.
  • Bake on 350 for 40 minutes or until the crumble topping is lightly browned and the pears are cooked through.
  • Serve the pear crumble warm. Make it even more decadent with ice cream or whipped cream on the side.
