Pear crumble is the perfect fall fruit dessert. It’s naturally sweet, has a variety of textures and can be served family style for holiday gatherings. Baked pear crumble makes serving family and friends easy.
Peel, core and cube the pears. You want the pieces of pear to be about the same size so the pear crumble recipe cooks evenly.
Add the pears to a bowl with lemon juice and cornstarch. If your pears are not ripe, this is when you add the sugar to ensure your pear crumble will be sweet.
In a bowl, combine the nuts, oats, cubed butter and crushed OMG! Pretzels for the pear crumble topping.
Pour the pear mixture into your prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle the crumble topping over the pears until the fruit is evenly covered.
Bake on 350 for 40 minutes or until the crumble topping is lightly browned and the pears are cooked through.
Serve the pear crumble warm. Make it even more decadent with ice cream or whipped cream on the side.
